Our Safety Commitment

All GT Aviation students, pilots, instructors and other employees must commit to operating GT Aviation aircraft in a manner consistent with the highest possible level of safety. This commitment encompasses individual as well as observed operations conducted by all persons regardless of experience. Safety needs to be at the forefront of every operation.

If you have witnessed a safety issue you would like to bring to our attention (with either our flight operations or Potomac Airfield at large) please use the form below. All submissions go directly to our Safety Officer for review and are submitted anonymously.

Employment Opportunities

Certified Flight Instructors (CFI)

GT Aviation is looking for CFIs in the DC/MD/VA area. We are located at Potomac Airfield in Friendly, MD (KVKX).

We offer primary instruction in the Cessna 172 or Diamond DA-40, and have a Piper Arrow for IFR, Commercial, and Complex. We offer competitive pay and a professional yet fun environment. VKX is inside the Flight Restricted Zone so all CFIs must complete the security procedures for authorization to operate from the airport.
